Meggie and Chris were so much fun to work with. I mean they chose to bring all their friends and family to Las Vegas, how can you have more fun than that?
Columbia Gorge, Washington
The Pacific North West is an awe-inspiring region of the US. We spent most of our time in Portland and Hood River, Oregon but the actual wedding took place right across the Hood River on the Washington State side in the Columbia River Gorge.
I met the groom, Tim, in Australia back in 2008 when we were both studying abroad there for a semester. We stayed in touch and when he got engaged to the lovely Noelle he contacted me right away! I loved getting to meet Noelle and be a part of their amazing wedding day. It was so much fun to see some other friends from our time in Australia! The terrain could not have been any more different than Australia. The backdrop to their wedding was a vineyard with the amazing snow capped Mt. Hood in the background. Simply breathtaking!
Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
Aryn and Tom's wedding in Ft. Lauderdale at the Hilton turned out perfectly. The family and guests were able to hangout for a few days prior to the wedding getting to know each other. One reason I love destination weddings is how it brings both families together. Instead of one day to quickly socialize with the other family, you get a few days to interact and get to know each other.
Marco Island, Florida
Jess and Glen's wedding in Marco Island was absolutely stunning. Jess was a gorgeous bride with a perfect backdrop of the beach and tropical garden at the Marco Island Resort. I got to know the family and guests by coming a few days prior and photographing the pool party and the rehearsal dinner on the beach. This wedding was featured in Kentucky Bride Magazine in 2014 in their Destination Wedding Feature.
Cortni and Adam are kindred spirits, both adventurous and awesome! They had a destination wedding in Tulum, Mexico. They are from the fingerlakes in New York and have a startup cidery called Star Cider. Check it out at www.Starcidery.com.
Cortni was also a Blogger on The Wedding Bee and wrote about her destination wedding.
